Citizenship Preparatory Class

For adults seeking U.S. citizenship

Program Description

Our Citizenship Preparation program helps eligible adults prepare for the U.S. citizenship interview and naturalization test.

Students learn about U.S. history, government, and civics while building the English speaking skills needed for citizenship interview. Classes, books, flashcards, and other learning materials are provided at no cost.

Our students come from over 70 different countries.

Ha married an American citizen and moved from Vietnam to America. Upon arrival in America, Ha found it very difficult to communicate. Her husband found the literacy council and arranged for Ha to start classes.
