Program Description

We provide free ESL classes to help adults improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

Our experienced teachers, trained tutors, and learning materials are provided at no cost. We are proud to be the only organization in Washington County offering free adult ESL services.

Program Details

Free ESL classes are available to adult learners in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We offer classes seven days a week, both in-person and online. Flexible scheduling options are available to meet the needs of adult learners. To learn more, call 724-228-6188 or email lauren@lcswpa.org.

Luke and Nina’s Story

English is “hard to learn”, but Luke is now an intermediate-level student with a solid grasp of the language basics. Nina, too, now has a tutor at the Literacy Council and is one of the fastest learners in our program.
